Set on the edge of the tiny village of Chamborigaud, in the Languedoc region, Château de Montjoie is a beautiful 16th Century castle built by Captain De Leyris.

The Château is nestled in a five-acre park in the Cevennes mountains and has the river Luech flowing along its boundary. It was built in 1575 and comprises three beautiful towers with turrets. The castle has retained all of its charm including its original features and the decor of the interiors has been carefully selected to marry the style of the Château perfectly.

The Property

Stay Options
The castle is co-owned and shared throughout the year by two health conscious communities, Evelyn's Mark and Eliane. There is, however, occasional opportunities for private hire in non-peak seasons.
The Location
The small village of Chamborigaud has a tennis court adjacent to the Château, shopping, bars and restaurants and has many beautiful walks and drives. The area is renowned for its wild boar, chestnuts and mushrooms.
